Mr Obama Calls the the Scottish decision to free on compassionate grounds the biggest mass murderer in British legal history. Mistake1 Well Duh!

The US President’s criticism of the “mistake” added to a growing backlash against the Scottish decision to free on compassionate grounds the biggest mass murderer in British legal history.

Hours after the Scottish National Party administration in Edinburgh announced its decision, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi, the only man convicted of the 1988 atrocity, flew home to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, where thousands waited to greet him.

Scottish and Libyan flags were waved, creating a festive atmosphere. Megrahi left the plane in a dark suit to be greeted by relatives and the Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al Islam Gaddafi.

The former intelligence agent has terminal prostate cancer and has less than three months to live. Kenny MacAskill, the Scottish justice minister, said freeing him showed Scotland’s “humanity”.

Despite his illness, Megrahi, 57, walked unaided up the steps of a plane at Glasgow airport.

After he left Scottish soil, Megrahi, who has served eight years of a 27-year sentence, released a statement protesting his innocence and expressing his “sympathy” for the families of the 270 people he was convicted of killing. The US government condemned the decision to release him, as did American relatives of some of the victims. One US Senator said that by releasing Megrahi, Scottish ministers had increased the threat of international terrorism. Internet campaigners threatened a US boycott of Scottish products.

Mr Obama said: “We have been in contact with the Scottish government, indicating that we objected to this and we thought it was a mistake.”

Gordon Brown’s government declined to comment but David Cameron, the Conservative leader, said it was “wrong”.

“This man was convicted of murdering 270 people,” he said. “He showed no compassion to them, they weren’t allowed to go home and die with their relatives in their own bed. This is a bad decision.”

The Scottish Parliament will be recalled from its summer break next week to debate the issue. At a press conference announcing his decision, Mr MacAskill tried to shift the blame on to London saying the Government had not expressed an opinion on Megrahi’s fate.

Obama's Healthcare Plan

Here’s a thought:

For years the Left has told us regarding abortion that women have the unassailable right to do with their body as they please. “Our bodies, Our Choice,” right? Now that the Left is demanding that the government be given control of healthcare, does this mean that they no longer believe in this supposed right? If the government can tell us, as Mr. Obama himself suggested, to take pills instead of having an operation, doesn’t that violate this “sacred” right the Left has insisted on so vehemently? If the medical procedure of abortion is a right, then why not grandma’s cancer surgery? Surely grandma has a right to do with her body as she pleases regardless of the societal repercussions, right?

With this particular government, I can go to a town hall meeting and express my opinion but my alleged representatives, up to and including the President are totally ignoring my voice and the voice of the majority of the people. And not only are they ignoring us, but they are calling us “mobs,” “nazis,” “functionally retarded” and worse. So sure, why not give my healthcare to a bunch of politicians who not only don’t listen to me but are actively trying to silence my opinion?

The majority of Liberals in Congress pushing single payer are rich. And guess what? They are so sure that Obamacare is THE answer to solve all of our healthcare problems that they have EXEMPTED THEMSELVES FROM IT. Not the biggest vote of confidence, wouldn’t you agree? If it’s so wonderful, why aren’t they eager to participate in it? If they’re not willing to participate, why should I?

32 CZARS? What's Next?

Will Obama have a Torture Czar?

So What exactly is this czar going to manage? Is he the one who decides how stale the bagels are allowed to become before they become war crimes? Does he determine if making the prisoners listen to NPR count as recreation time (that may be a contravention of the human rights commission)?

You know personally I would rather some one threaten to kill me or put a drill near my than actually kill me or stick a drill in my appendages… I wonder how many prisoners in Iran BEG GOD they were being held in US custody instead?

Should Obama Pardon CIA Interrogators?

What? Are you kidding me? Oh wait a minute .... NOW I get it. That's what this is all about, isn't it?! CIA operatives were *instructed* by President Bush, and the Democrat Party has been trying to impeach W since he became president. They promised his impeachment because President Clinton was impeached, and the liberals will never rest in their effort to drag President Bush down into the Clinton sewer.

Since their several attempts in propaganda tactics have failed, it appears they will now go through the CIA, hoping to prove that W acted illegally. Colin Powell's silence is very, very LOUD.

I assume Obama and Holder are not aware that their ignorance shines brighter every day. Neither of these jokers ever fought in a war or acted in ANY way to protect the citizens of this nation ..... yet they sit and accuse others of wartime crime. These two are nothing. They are nobody. We KNOW who the heroes are!

It should be the other way around: The CIA should ask Obama if he and his band of merry fascists want a pardon!

The CIA should not be investigated to begin with by this left wing political hack. Obama sets a very dangerous precedent when he tries to use the Justice Department to punish government employees for the policies of his predecessors. And then to further insult our intelligence, he uses the Clinton tactic of pretending that he has nothing to do with it. Holder works for Obama and he isn't pursuing this without the full backing of the White House. There is no limit to the treason these low lifes will commit in the name of political power. These are dark days for America.
If the democrats go after the CIA, the CIA should drop all of their defenses and let DC get HIT with an attack. Screw them. I'm sick and tired of the leftwingnuts trying to destroy our ability to keep the US safe. All of the politician in the DC Beltway better think twice before they attack our own CIA who will stop at nothing to keep them safe.
The MoveOn kooks would have a collective meltdown if this happened.Think about the hypocricy of their name in wanting to rehash this old ground. They want to tarnish the Bush legacy which is looking better all the time.Obama's tanking poll numbers are a result of the left leading him around by the nose.Holder had no business getting the AG job to begin with, with his seedy past but republicans were relieved it wasn't a totally weird left wing pick so he passed the senate. There's rampant criminality going on in this country right now with fraud probably being the biggest one that should be getting Holder's attention. The ACLU has been coaching these detainees on how they were abused. Perfect example was this Afgan kid who threw a gernade at two US soldiers being released because of supposed abuse

President Obama actually bowed to the King of Suadi Arabia

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The Washington Times called the alleged bow a "shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate" and said it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty. The Weekly Standard, meanwhile, noted that American protocol apparently rules out bowing, or at least it reportedly did on the occasion of a Clinton "near-bow" to the emperor of Japan.

Interestingly, a columnist in the Saudi-backed Arabic paper Asharq Alawsat also took the gesture as a bow and appreciated the move.

Give me a break! If he bowed any lower he could have given Abdullah a BJ. Saudi Arabia occupies a region of the world that produces Islamic terrorists like assembly-line parts and has contributed its fair share to conflict and wars. On that note, Obama is contributing $900 million to Hamas as part of the 'stimulus' package. The bow to Abdullah was just another sign of allegiance to hostile enemies of the United States.

Michelle Obama Finally Proud of America After 44 Years

For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction.

Are you freakin kidding me? The woman is 44-years old. And this is the “first time she’s ever been really proud of her country”? Really? How horribly pathetic.

* I’ve been proud of my country every single day of my life. So proud, in fact, that I volunteered to go fight and possibly die for my country. I wasn’t even American and I enlisted in the US Army to fight terrorism.. And that was the single proudest moment in my life. Perhaps if Michele or Barack had ever done anything as selfless in service of their country, they would feel the same way.
* The life and death of SFC Paul R. Smith makes me proud of my country and the people who live and die defending it. Michelle Obama could care less.
* She was nearly an adult when the US Hockey team beat the Commies in 1980. No sense of pride during that, Michelle? Heartless bitch.
* No sense of pride for her country during the horrific tsunami at the end of 2004, and the way that the United States responded — both our government’s response and the generous millions of dollars in private donations —- to help the victims? No sense of pride in that?
* When I heard about Todd Beamer and the other passengers aboard United Airlines Flight 93 who rallied behind a cry of “Let’s roll” — I cried with pride for my fellow countrymen. Apparently Michelle Obama was unmoved.

I could think of thousands upon thousands of other examples of when I was bursting with pride about my country. I’m sure most of you could too. I’ll bet the most cynical and jaded amongst you have moments in your life where you were immensely proud of our country.

But not Michelle. It took Obamasiah and the cult of Obamania to really make her proud to be an American.
Michelle Obama’s statement was most unfortunate. Surely there are many more things to be proud of in America in the past a well as the present.
I would say, If you are not proud of being an American then get out!
What a ungrateful women.
