You can call out your goon squads and organize your mobs all you want. I'm Confused

Just over a week ago I posted about Luton's 3-month banning order on groups protesting against Islamic protests against the troops. Yesterday riot police broke up a mob of 200 Asian 'youngsters' after they threw fireworks at officers. (Youngsters??)

I'm confused because it's unclear from the BBC reporting whether the banned marches went ahead after all and this was a reaction or whether all the firework-throwing came from the pictured group protesting about something the police aren't aware of.

"There has been extensive public consultation and work behind the scenes to ensure Luton was not the chosen venue for any kind of march or protest but it would seem that for no apparent reason disorder has broken out in Bury Park."

Here's how Luton Today is reporting it. There were no other marches taking place on the day so it was just this 'small, unrepresentative group' of 'Asians'. Now I'm not so confused.

Kennedy and the nomination of the Federal Reserve chief to a new term, Obama settles back into the Oval Office well aware his approval ratings have fallen.
The Summer vacation is over.
Time to start the Fall vacation.
Oh bother, that means it's time to plan Winter vacation.

Ted Kennedy Is Dead

If this drunken, traitorous, cowardly, bully of a man is what the PC MC ‘libtard’ DEMS think is a hero that that tells us so much about them.

I have to rant. The news about Kennedy dying is making me sick. They are saying what a "great American" he was.

I say - good riddance! He has met his maker and Kennedy is now burning in hell for the rest of eternity.

He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.

On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts . At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur's keys to his Oldsmobile limousine, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond..

He swam to shore and walked back to the party, passing several houses and a fire station. Two friends then returned with him to the scene of the accident. According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew - that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities. Instead, Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep. Kennedy called the police the next morning and by then the wreck had already been discovered. Before dying, Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car.

The Kennedy family began "calling in favors", ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family, before an autopsy could be conducted. Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne and he didn't call police because he was in a state of shock.

It is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, and he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight. Since the accident, Kennedy's "political enemies" have referred to him as the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick. He pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, and was given a SUSPENDED SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS.

Kopechne's family received a small pay out from the Kennedy's insurance policy, and never sued. There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy's family paid their attorney's bills... a "token of friendship"?

Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years & he was the biggest pro-abortionist Senators out there. He is/was as bad as Obama.

He is known around Washington as a public drunk, loud, boisterous and very disrespectful to ladies. JERK is a better description than "great American". “A blond in every pond” should be his motto.

U.S. commander of operations in Afghanistan Gen Stanley McChrystal met with Mr Brown during his surprise trip to Afghanistan over the weekend.
He has authored a reported claiming that if Western forces can give the Taliban jobs, 60 per cent of the problem will be removed.
And the general likened the Western efforts in Afghanistan to those of a bull charging a matador - ie the Taliban - weakened with every cut it receives.

We must remember, however, that there are millions of patriots in the heartland who have no intention of allowing Barack Obama or anyone else to trash the Constitution and get away with it.

One US Senator said that by releasing Megrahi, Scottish ministers had increased the threat of international terrorism. Internet campaigners threatened a US boycott of Scottish products.

Mr Obama said: “We have been in contact with the Scottish government, indicating that we objected to this and we thought it was a mistake.”

Gordon Brown’s government declined to comment but David Cameron, the Conservative leader, said it was “wrong”.

“This man was convicted of murdering 270 people,” he said. “He showed no compassion to them, they weren’t allowed to go home and die with their relatives in their own bed. This is a bad decision.”

The Scottish Parliament will be recalled from its summer break next week to debate the issue. At a press conference announcing his decision, Mr MacAskill tried to shift the blame on to London saying the Government had not expressed an opinion on Megrahi’s fate.

Obama's Healthcare Plan

Here’s a thought:

For years the Left has told us regarding abortion that women have the unassailable right to do with their body as they please. “Our bodies, Our Choice,” right? Now that the Left is demanding that the government be given control of healthcare, does this mean that they no longer believe in this supposed right? If the government can tell us, as Mr. Obama himself suggested, to take pills instead of having an operation, doesn’t that violate this “sacred” right the Left has insisted on so vehemently? If the medical procedure of abortion is a right, then why not grandma’s cancer surgery? Surely grandma has a right to do with her body as she pleases regardless of the societal repercussions, right?

With this particular government, I can go to a town hall meeting and express my opinion but my alleged representatives, up to and including the President are totally ignoring my voice and the voice of the majority of the people. And not only are they ignoring us, but they are calling us “mobs,” “nazis,” “functionally retarded” and worse. So sure, why not give my healthcare to a bunch of politicians who not only don’t listen to me but are actively trying to silence my opinion?

The majority of Liberals in Congress pushing single payer are rich. And guess what? They are so sure that Obamacare is THE answer to solve all of our healthcare problems that they have EXEMPTED THEMSELVES FROM IT. Not the biggest vote of confidence, wouldn’t you agree? If it’s so wonderful, why aren’t they eager to participate in it? If they’re not willing to participate, why should I?
